Dalmeny Minor Hockey
3-on-3 Program, August 24th to Sept 13th 2009
10 February 2009
Message from Darren Lindberg, President, Dalmeny 3on3
Program:
After a highly successful first year, we are planning for a full
house in 2009. In 2008 we hosted 130 kids in three divisions
from Atom thru to Bantam. Feedback was spectacular and this
season after numerous requests we are offering a 3on3 program
for Novice thru to Midget age kids. Some have asked what sets us
aside from others out there. We are not sure, but we are still
learning. We maintain a balanced approach to the selection of
teams. We try hard to balance based on the honest registration
of parents with regards to their kid's skill level. Each team
will have a few tier I, tier II and tier III kids. Our program
is not large enough to have a separate division for each skill
level, so we feel this approach provides the best chance for
growth and development of the players. Most importantly, kids
from all skill levels get a chance to play with each other,
foster team-building skills, and learn new skills they may not
have learnt in other arenas (no pun intended).Get registered
fast as we only have 8 teams with ten kids per team. COACHES, we
need you too. There will be a need for 38 coaches this season.
Please indicate upon registration if you wish to coach and I
will assign you to a team immediately. If you register early you
will have your pick of teams.
Have fun this summer - See you at the rink! Register at
www.dalmenyminorhockey3on3.com
